DONATE

Don’t worry. We don’t all look like him.

THANK YOU.

The man in the picture above was an organ grinder on Bay St. in 1912. I’m sure he’s alive and doing well now, but for years he performed on the street to bring a little magic to his community. He worked hard to make his money, and by the looks of it, grew a beard just to hide his bashful smile.

Like the organ grinder, everyone at Hear Here is donating their time and effort to bring something special to Toronto. We want to engage with the established artists of this city, but we also want to give opportunities to emerging artists who may not have exposure they deserve. If you’re an organ grinder, we’ll put you in contact with the man pictured above.

If you like what we’re doing, you can help us get this project off the ground by making even a small donation. Our team isn’t large, but we’re relying on the kindness of strangers to make this happen, often taking undesirable streetcars just to make sure it does.

How else can I help?

If you want to help and have already refreshed this page three or four times, please aid us to spread the word about Hear Here. Just pick up a street organ and raise your voice.

*Note: All of our donations are accepted through the same engine as our tickets. If you wish only to donate, click the button below. On the linking page, keep the General Admission quantity at 0, and then enter your donation amount. Thank you so much.
